Belief systems are essential to our identity and are very important to us. Our beliefs define who we think we are and what we believe we can and cannot do. Our core beliefs extend into all areas of our lives. Unhealthy core beliefs can negatively affect our feelings and behaviour’s.

Our beliefs create our reality, so if you want to live a happy life it’s very important to challenge those beliefs’. Negative beliefs that cause us to feel that we are not good enough or are stupid. Many of which have been programmed in there from our parents, teachers and figures of authority in our younger developing years.

The most limiting beliefs are those that begin with, “I can’t…”. A Core belief can be difficult to overcome. It has been programmed into the subconscious mind. As a hypnotherapists is therefore my role to help people achieve a healthy attitude towards themselves, so that they do not rely on the destructive effect that some beliefs can have on their sense of self.

Hypnosis can play an important role in helping someone to overcome limiting beliefs and to develop new better belief systems. Not all beliefs will subside straight away. It can take time to overcome subconscious resistance.  With the continuous repetition of the right words we can form new neural pathways within the brain. This is where the importance of a well designed hypnotic audio really helps to re write neural pathways. Creating change from the inside out.

Our fundamental belief system helps us understand how we fit into the world, our worth to others, what we can expect from others, what we can expect from life. It determines how we think, feel, and behave. If you feel that certain beliefs are making you unhappy or limiting your life in some way, then it is time to do something about it. Hypnotherapy is an excellent therapy for helping with the change you seek by “reprogramming” the contents of your subconscious mind.
